Gourmet Experience provides those with an interest in food & wine an opportunity to gather at a different host venue each month for dinner, enjoy a three-course meal with matching wines and the chance to hear from the venue host, chefs and winemakers.
The Gourmet Experience June Dinner as part of GC Bazaar will be held at Volare Restaurant in Labrador. Volare Restaurant has become an Italian cuisine icon and a leading restaurant of the Gold Coast. Volare was awarded WINNER of the 2007 Restaurant & Catering Australia Awards for Excellence - Best Entertainment Restaurant.

Labrador offers plenty of ways to take it easy.
There's walking or swimming at the Southport Broadwater, a superb natural protected waterway.
Go cycling or view the play of light on the water – the largest expanse of calm water in Australia.
Nearby Southport developed a reputation as a holiday destination from the 1890s. Brisbane residents heard of an excellent fishing and seaside location – favoured even by then Queensland Governor Sir Anthony Musgrave. At that time steamers and cutters plied the area and the kiosk baths were built. Major landmarks still standing include the exclusive St Hilda’s School, The Southport School and the Court House.

Major shopping centres and a mall offer busy precincts. Nearby Parklands showgrounds is home of the annual Gold Coast Show, produce markets on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, motor shows and other events.
