Currumbin information
Currumbin has a magnificent beachfront with fabulous views north and south. It boasts an attractive bushland backdrop. The Currumbin Sanctuary offers you the chance to get up close and personal to many species of Australian wildlife and more! Situated just behind the beachfront, this is a must do on your stay at Currumbin.
The Currumbin Valley, further inland, has much to offer in the way of natural beauty. Take the Currumbin Creek Road and travel inland to Currumbin Rock Pool, great for picnics. The Mount Cougal National Park is situated nearby, and although is only small, boasts pretty and serene cascades. Go on an adventure trail or horse riding.
The gentle surf and small rock pools deem the area's beaches popular with young families. Try your luck at the fishing spots along the picturesque Currumbin Creek. Just south, a multiple winner of Queensland's cleanest beach award, Palm Beach attracts agile locals looking to stretch their muscles along golden sands and cool off in sparkling warm waters. After a busy morning workout at the beach, sit back and quench your thirst at the Surf Life Saving Club.
