Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival

Tamborine Mountain

‘The Green behind the Gold’ will be the host of the Inaugural Scarecrow Festival on Tamborine Mountain.

Visitors to the mountain will see many dozens of locally created scarecrows lined up along a circular 14 kilometer road trail.  Visitors are invited to count the scarecrows to enter a competition to win a luxurious weekend at Songbirds.

Special Guest Nikki Webster will be reading stories on the Sunday of the Scarecrow Festival, together with Auntie Lynn of Magical Scarecrows. Buskers, Musicians and entertainers will be on hand to add to the festival atmosphere.

Shops, accommodation, cafes and other facilities will be open and visitors may take the time out to visit the beautiful national parks and the natural environment of the mountain.  The community at large is involved, business, residents, community groups and schools.
